Emilean Harrel (left) and her daughter Monica (center), are happy owners of NHS-built houses. Fortunately, they never gave up hope of becoming homeowners. Homeownership counselor Lyvie Westerband and the NHS team helped them make their dream come true. They facilitated classroom instruction, offered one on one budget and credit counseling, and offered lending expertise that translated into their purchasing a lovely affordable home.
