Recent correspondence from all lenders
1 month's pay stubs (most current)
2 months' bank statements (most current)
Tax returns for 2007 and 2008
W2 for 2007 and 2008
Driver's license
Social Security card
Court documents received pertaining to the mortgages, if applicable
Simple household budget
Explanation of the cause for default (loss of income/employment, divorce, medical condition,
insurance premium increase, etc.) 


A current credit report is required. $12 for an individual borrower, $21 for a couple.
