Pledge Your Donation

Plan an Event to Benefit Neighborhood Housing Services
Many organizations plan luncheons, dinners, benefit shows, golf tournaments, and other types of events to raise funds. All groups planing an event for NHSSF must request prior approval and complete our Fund Raising Pre-Event form prior to using NHS' name or logo in any event communications. Sponsorships for NHS' Two Annual Events

Make a Memorial or Tribute Gift
You can designate your gift in memory of a special person. Just give us the complete name and address of the family and honoree when sending in your contribution. Does Your Company Offer Matching Gifts?
Many companies have programs that match the charitable contributions made by their employees. Through corporate gift matching, your employer can multiply your gift to NHS, making it go further. Check with your company's human resource department to see if you are elegible for gift matching. Your human resources department should provide you with a matching gift form to send to send along with your donation. Planned Giving
Deferred gifts allow you to provide a larger legacy than might be possible then outright gifts made during your lifetime. Your planned gift will contribute to the future strength of NHSSF' staff to carry forward the work and ideals in which you believe. Planned gifts may be in the form of bequests, life insurance, qualified retirement plans or real estate. We encourage you and your legal/financial advisors to work with NHS to plan deferred gifts. Instead of Cash Consider Painting Supplies
Each year NHSSF annual Paint and Landscape day needs donations of supplies to keep this event free to residents of the Brownsville community. Paint, primer, brushes, rollers, cleaning, supplies, water, coolers, step ladders, and other supplies are needed for 2010.
